Asociación Ecosistemas Andinos
ECOAN is a non-profit NGO dedicated to the conservation of endangered species and threatened Andean ecosystems. They work as a team with local communities to protect the habitat of these species, improve the use and exploitation of natural resources and restore degraded areas.
The Mission of ECOAN is to conserve the flora and fauna species in danger of extinction and threatened ecosystems, through the protection of biological diversity, the sustainable use of natural resources, restoration of habitats and environmental education. ECOAN develops a framework of participation and mutual commitment with the communities and their authorities in local, regional and national spheres.
