Eyes on the Flyways conference

LIFE EuroSAP 'Coordinated efforts for international species recovery'

The Eyes on the Flyways conference was held at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels on 24 May 2018. It was the final event of the LIFE European Species Action Plan (EuroSAP) project, and was organised by BirdLife International and its project partners, with the financial support of the European Commission, the African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbird Agreement and the MAVA Foundation.

The conference aimed to bring together representatives of different stakeholder groups (agriculture, hunting, fisheries, land management, decisions-makers and NGOs) from countries spread over three continents, in order to resolve issues faced by sixteen bird species of high conservation priority, for which nine Species Action Plans have been developed under this project.
