Partnership Development

Together we amplify the voice of nature

At BirdLife our strength lies in our network of 119 Partners in 123 countries. In our region of Europe & Central Asia, BirdLife represents 46 national Partners from 44 countries, including all EU Member States.

Together, we represent a powerful coalition of conservation organisations – some among the oldest in the world, others newer but equally driven to create meaningful change for nature and people.

By uniting our voices and efforts, we amplify the call for better environmental policies and practices, influencing decision-makers at local, national, and regional levels. Through our shared commitment, we give nature and its advocates a platform to be heard across Europe and Central Asia.

Supporting the Partnership

Our regional office in Brussels is the hub of the BirdLife Partnership in Europe and Central Asia. We work to strengthen collaboration, encourage knowledge-sharing, and foster a spirit of solidarity among our Partners. By promoting mutual learning and cooperative action, we ensure our network remains resilient and effective in its mission.

We are committed to helping our Partners achieve the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and legitimacy. This includes offering guidance to strengthen institutional health, address risks to civil society operating spaces, and adapt to the unique challenges faced in different countries.

By working together, we empower our Partners to tackle the most pressing environmental challenges of today while preparing for those of tomorrow.
