As the Individual Giving and Supporter Care Manager, you will play a significant role in supporting the income generation that is needed to deliver BirdLife International’s new 10-year strategy.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Individual Giving and Supporter Care Manager will be responsible for the strategic management and implementation of individual giving (including community fundraising) raising c£300K+ of vital unrestricted income and supporter engagement.
You will also lead the supporter care team, championing high-quality supporter care, implementing best practices, and ensuring the lifetime value of our supporters.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstratable experience in individual giving
- Experience of creating inspiring fundraising marketing materials, for digital and print
- Experience of managing an appeal or direct marketing programme including success in acquisition and retention of supporters
- Demonstrable success in developing and delivering individual giving strategies to meet or exceed ambitious financial targets.
- Experience of building and sustaining relationships with donors through supporter journey management
- Track record of delivering funding against set targets
