Mission of the organisation
To protect wild birds and their habitats, LNVL works closely with its foundation Hëllef fir d'Natur, which is concerned with the purchase and management of habitats.

Recent Achievements
- Participated in a Black Stork migration programme in collaboration with Belgium and France
- More than 400 new members joined the Regulus Junior Club, a youth environmental education project
- Created an Ornithological Bureau, financially supported by the Luxembourg Ministry of the Environment and employing the country's first ever professional ornithologist
- Following LNVL recommendations, all nine Luxembourg IBAs were included in national SPA proposals by the government
- Carried out national surveys of the Eagle Owl and Peregrine
- Held a fundraising campaign in collaboration with Volkswagen
- Recruited almost 500 new members
