Biodiversity of database for EAMCF Hotspot maintained and expanded
IBA monitoring status and trends 2004 launched
Contributed to 2nd National report to CBD

Attendance at global fora (SBSTTAs, CBD-COPs, BirdLife Global Conference, IUCN, World Parks Congress, WSSD)
45 acres of land reserve purchased in Kinangop grasslands for protection of the globally threatened endemic Sharpe’s Longclaw
Mt Kenya Resource Centre under construction supported by GEF UNDP COMPACT
Membership has been maintained at over 1000 members
Education programme is developing a resource book, Learning for sustainable living in Kenya, to be sent to all public schools in Kenya to help enhance teaching
