Mission of the organisation

Conserving biodiversity at the national level through monitoring, legislation, training, awareness, and the sustainable management of natural resources, research and community participation of Jaragua-Bahoruco-Enriquillo Biosphere Reserve.

  • Conservation of globally important sites – Mainly in the Jaragua-Bahoruco-Enriquillo Biosphere Reserve.
  • Implementation of the Dominican IBA Programme.
  • Support to rural micro-businesses.
  • National System of Protected Areas Public Watchdog - Advocacy.
  • The strengthening and establishment of strategic alliances.
