Communications Assistant

The Communications Assistant will work with the Communications team to promote and create more visibility for BirdLife Europe and BirdLife International environmental policy priorities towards EU stakeholders and citizens, in particular in relation to the Birds and Habitats Directives.

European Fundraising Consultant

To develop funding for the implementation of the European Programme in close cooperation with the Regional Director of the European Division and Division staff, ensuring these fit with funders’ requirements.

Fundraising Director

We are seeking to appoint a Fundraising Director to play a leading role in shaping and delivering the fundraising strategy for BirdLife International. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of high scale fundraising from a mix of income streams, sound understanding of fundraising techniques and experience of strategic planning. You will be a strong communicator, an inspirational leader, and have experience of successfully managing geographically dispersed teams.  A passion for nature and an understanding of conservation issues would be an advantage.

Consultant for final project evaluation - Living on the Edge (LOTE)

The BirdLife Africa Partnership Secretariat is seeking a consultant to evaluate the Living on the Edge (LOTE) project from 13th March 2015 to 30th April 2015. The consultant will begin the evaluation with a review of key project documentation including key reports and correspondence. It will include visits to Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Nigeria. Field visits to some of the project sites will be conducted in Senegal, Burkina Faso and Mauritania. The Evaluator will meet with NGOs, Government Officials and Local community groups and other Partners.
