HOW TO REGISTER
A. I HAVE FUNDING TO PAY FOR MY OWN ATTENDANCE – GO TO FORM ONE
PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW FOR SELF FUNDED DELEGATES:
STEP ONE
-
Delegate completes the first page of Form One providing personal and full contact details, putting an “x” in the Preliminary Registration box on the form and sends it to conference@birdlife.org or fax or by post.
-
BirdLife contacts delegate to advise that registration is approved and provides delegate with registration number. If the registration is not accepted the delegate will also be advised at this point.
STEP TWO
-
Delegate selects hotel preference, makes provisional flight booking, confirms if an airport transfer is required and sends details back to BirdLife by completing SECTION B, C and D of Form One, marking the form with an “x” in the ”Amendment to Registration” box.
-
The organisers will do their best to allocate the hotel room requested and will respond to the delegate to advise that the room is or is not available for the dates required. If you have asked to share a room and need a sharer to be found, BirdLife will advise as soon as this has been done.
STEP THREE
-
Delegate must then complete the total amount payable table, SECTION E, and arrange for payment, SECTION F, to be made to BirdLife (see further detail on the form).
STEP FOUR
- A letter of invitation will be sent out timeously should a visa to enter Argentina be required.

Delegate makes provisional flight booking (do not pay for the ticket at this stage) and sends details back to BirdLife by completing SECTION C on Form One, marking the form with an “x” in the ”Amendment to Registration” box. Please fill in the price of the air ticket as quoted by your travel agent.
-
BirdLife will respond to delegate to confirm if cost of air ticket is acceptable.
STEP THREE
-
The delegate does not need to select accommodation as this will be done by BirdLife on your behalf – all funded accommodation will be on a room share basis.
-
A letter of invitation will be sent out timeously should a visa to enter Argentina be required.
-
Arrangements will be made for reimbursements by BirdLife where relevant on a case by case basis.
