OBTAIN IMAGES FOR PERSONAL USE – AND DONATE TO CONSERVATION!
Large, high resolution images suitable for printing are available in exchange for a small donation (minimum of US$5 each). Photos will be sent by email. Funds raised will be directed through the Neotropical Bird Club (NBC) towards one or more projects to conserve globally threatened birds in Argentina. The NBC is a UK-registered charity that promotes bird conservation and research in Central/South America and the Caribbean. Potential recipients include:
- a survey of Hooded Grebe Podiceps gallordoi (Near Threatened) breeding populations to determine whether this rapidly declining species should be classified as globally threatened;
- a survey of flowering bamboo in Misiones province to confirm the presence of the Critically Endangered Purple-winged Ground-dove Claravis godefrida (Critically Endangered); and
- an assessment of the status and conservation needs of a new population of Orinoco Goose Neochen jubata (Near Threatened) in Salta province.

To purchase images, please take the following steps:
STEP 1: go to
www.neotropicalbirdclub.org/html/donations.html This uses WorldPay’s secure payment system.
STEP 2: go the section "BirdLife World Conference' and enter a number which, multiplied by US$5, will constitute your donation (remember it is a minimum donation of US$5 per photo)
STEP 3: a new page comes up (the 'cart'). If the donation total is correct, click 'Go to payments'. If you wish to change your donation total, change the number in the ‘Quantity’ box, and click ‘Recalculate’. When the page has reloaded, check that the total donation is correct and click ‘Go to payments’.
STEP 4: When prompted, enter your name and address details. In the box marked ‘Company’, type “WCC”. (This enables the Neotropical Bird Club to ‘ringfence’ your donation for the Argentina conservation awards.) Then follow the instructions to make a payment by MasterCard, VISA or VISA debit.
STEP 5: email lowen.james@gmail.com with the unique identifier code of the photo(s) that you would like (e.g. "WCC-2409-1010-J").
STEP 6: James will then email you the photo(s). Download and print!
