Many BirdLife Partners wish to promote their status within the BirdLife International Partnership. If we all use the BirdLife brand in a consistent way it will help to strengthen the collective image of our BirdLife Partnership, better promote what we do and ultimately be good for conservation. A great way to promote yourself as the BirdLife Partner in your country is to use the BirdLife logo in your magazines, newsletters, leaflets, posters, websites, stationery...

LOGO

It is important that we all use the BirdLife logo correctly. The logo has been specially drawn, it must NEVER be altered. We recommend downloading the logo from the BirdLife website to ensure that you have the correct version.

You can also use the logo with the BirdLife International strapline Together for birds and people.

BirdLife logo with strapline

Where possible the full colour logo is the preferred version to use.

Always make sure that you use the correct logo version for your particular purpose. Is the logo clearly visible?

The BirdLife logo is made up of 2 colours

SPOT COLOUR: Blue: Pantone 300 Grey: Pantone 424
PROCESS COLOUR: Blue: C100 M43 Y0 K0 Grey: C0 M0 Y0 K65
SCREEN COLOUR: Blue: R0 G103 B198 Grey: R119 G120 B123

To protect the integrity of the brand, always place the logo on an appropriate background with sufficient contrast.

Sometimes the background clashes with the colour logo. In these instances use either the black or white versions, or a solid colour appropriate to your own organisation’s logo, rather than placing the colour logo in a white box.

Guidance for using black-only and white_only logos

Incorrect usage of the BirdLife logoThe logo is a valuable asset and should be reproduced with care. Always use approved electronic artwork and follow the specifications in these guidelines.

Even with the right BirdLife logo it is still possible to reproduce it wrongly. See these examples for more guidance and things to be mindful of...

To ensure a consistent logo that provides a strong global impact NEVER modify, reconfigure, recreate, add shadows, white borders or other edge effects to the BirdLife logo.
