BirdLife International’s Important Bird Areas (IBAs) are increasingly recognised worldwide. A strength of IBAs is that they are an international currency for bird conservation at site level. IBAs from Afganistan to Zimbabwe have the same meaning.
To promote BirdLife IBA conservation work a global IBA brand has been developed. It shows the global acronym – IBA, includes the explanation in national language to clarify the meaning of the acronym and to support local promotion and advocacy. In exceptional circumstances, you can use a version of the logo without ‘BirdLife’ on top. Please contact email@example.com for this logo and further advice.
Always make sure that the logo is clearly readable. 10mm high is the minimum size at which the logo may be reproduced. If you do need to reproduce the IBA logo smaller than this please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further advice.
The IBA logo has been developed so that you can easily combine it with your organisation's logo to show your involvement in the global IBA programme. It can also be in a solid colour that complements your own logo.
The IBA logo will be made available in your national language. If it is not shown available to download, contact us and we will produce it for you.
*Only BirdLife network organisations are allowed to use the IBA brand or license it to others within their own country or territory.
