Jibek

Jibek is an adult female Sociable Lapwing tagged in May 2010 at Aktubek in Central Kazakhstan. Her name means ‘Silk’ in Kazakh.

In order to help our scientists spot her in a large flock during migration she has been colour ringed. Her colour ring combination is blue over yellow on both legs.

Jibek’s satellite tag number is 055022.
