Welcome to the Partner section of the BirdLife International Pacific Partnership Volunteer Programme. Here you can upload your volunteer opportunities, view information about volunteers wanting to give their time to work in our region and find out more information about the Pacific Volunteer Programme.
Simply follow the steps below to find volunteers:
Step 1
Download the Guidance for Staff and Partners to find out more about the BirdLife International Pacific Partnership Volunteer Programme and related policies.
Step 2
Click on this link and complete the volunteer opportunity form to register a 'live' opportunity for volunteers. This will appear within 5 minutes on the ‘live opportunity’ section of our website here. If the volunteer opportunity is appropriate for a sabbatical, it will also be transferred within a week to the BirdLife extranet so that Secretariat and Partner staff can see it there.
Please remember: only complete this form for volunteer roles you intend to fill.
Step 3
Click on this link and sign in to look through the volunteer information to see if any of the potential volunteers that have registered an interest in volunteering in the Pacific, are suitable for your volunteering opportunity. The information in this spreadsheet is confidential and must be treated as such.
If you find somebody who matches with your volunteer opportunity, follow the instructions as provided in the BirdLife Pacific Partnership Volunteer Programme Handbook.
IMPORTANT - The Volunteer Information Sheet is a private area which you will need to be invited to view. Please email BirdLifePacificVolunteer@gmail.com to join. You will then be asked to open a password-protected Google account if you don't already have one.
