BirdLife Europe Partnership

The BirdLife European and Central Asian Partnership consists of 45 conservation organisations with almost 3,000 staff, 1.9 million members and more than 6,000 reserves covering over 300,000 hectares.

BirdLife Partners exist in: Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, BulgariaCyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands (to Denmark), Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar (to UK), Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan.

 

The Partners implement the Europe Programme coordinated by BirdLife Europe staff in Brussels (Belgium), working closely with BirdLife Global Secretariat staff in Cambridge, United Kingdom. 

BirdLife Europe is an international team of permanent staff  who collectively provide a wide range of experience and skills within the fields of ornithology, conservation, management, fundraising, advocacy, communication, administration and European languages. BirdLife Europe also coordinates the work in Central Asia.
