Important Bird Areas in the Caribbean

IBAs have been identified for every Caribbean country or territory. This page helps you explore these IBAs by enabling access to IBA fact sheets and maps. Clicking on the Map button displays an interactive map, allowing you to pan, zoom and switch between a traditional map and satellite imagery to help you find the IBA(s) you want. Alternatively, the Search button allows you to find a particular site or set of sites by specifying a combination of Country/Territory and International IBA name. For example, to find all sites beginning with the letter "A", simply enter A into the International name box and click on the search button. To search for all sites in a particular country or territory, ensure the International name is blank, select the Country/Territory you want and then click the search button. If you want to see the location of all identified IBAs, then select Map Sites. Updated information and new IBAs are being added as it becomes available.
