BirdLife Asia Partnership
The BirdLife Asia Division aims to support the development of the BirdLife Partnership and wider network in Asia, coordinate the implementation and strengthen the regional conservation programme, and through this ensure that BirdLife makes a major contribution to an improvement in the status of the region's threatened species, sites and habitats.
The BirdLife International Asia Partnership comprises Partners and Affiliates in the following Asian countries and territories: Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Russia, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

The BirdLife Asia Division (offices of the BirdLife Secretariat) is decentralised with a coordination office in Tokyo (Japan), and operational centres in Manila (Philippines), Hanoi (Vietnam) and Bogor (Indonesia). BirdLife's work in Indochina (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar) is co-ordinated from its office in Hanoi. BirdLife also has a project office in Abbotabad, Pakistan for implementation of the Palas conservation and development programme.
