The BirdLife International's Americas Partnership Meeting (APM) to be carried out from June 25-29th 2007 in Monterrey, Mexico will be hosted by Pronatura (BirdLife's Affiliate in Mexico).

The purpose of the Americas Partnership Meeting (a bi-annual Americas BirdLife Conference) is to provide a broader forum for exchange of information and program development.  Invitees shall include representatives of BirdLife Partners, Partner Designates, Affiliates, other potential collaborators with the BirdLife Program. The focus of the June APM in Mexico is:

  • To focus on advancing the Important Bird Areas (IBA) Program
  • To agree to a draft Regional Program for the Americas 2009-2012 and
  • To convene a CRA meeting to agree to strategic directions of the regional partnership.

The following are key documents for the APM:

1. Logistical information (includes participants list, hotel information, field trip information, etc.)

2. Background papers (support papers for the APM sessions from 25th – 28th)

3. CRA Papers (support papers for the Americas Regional Committee meeting on June 29th)
