Growing hope for plants in Lebanon

A collaborative team are on a data-collection mission to classify the extinction risk of rare and endemic Lebanese plants. Once determined, the team (funded by CEPF) can then target conservation and create Plant Micro-Reserves to protect these species.

The Lebanese Environment Forum has received a CEPF large grant of over $180,000 to promote sustainable hunting practices in Lebanon, using a community-based approach.
This new tool will provide developers with access to information on the distribution of soaring bird species along the Rift Valley / Red Sea flyway.
