Autumn is one of the busiest times of the year for migrating bird with over 500 million birds crossing the country as they make their journey south from Europe and Asia seeking warming weather in Africa. BBC correspondent Jon Donnison spoke with Dr Yossi Leshem from Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI / BirdLife Partner) to hear about their successful work reducing the conflicts between migratory birds and airplanes.
