Migratory birds of prey to be discussed

Next week Abu Dhabi will be hosting the 2nd and final meeting to discuss the conservation of migratory birds of prey in Africa and Eurasia region.
The meeting will be held from October 20 -22, 2008 and is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD).
The meeting is being organised by EAD, under the United Nations Environment Programme’s Convention on Migratory Species. The UK’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs is also a key partner in this initiative.
