Today's BirdLife Olympic event is Diving

Diving is a popular Olympic event that was first introduced in 1904. Olympic athletes dive from a height of 10m into a pool less than 5m deep. However, the deepest depth a human has reached whilst holding their breath is a staggering 244 metres.
