Riet Vell, the company promoted and owned by SEO/BirdLife to produce and trade organic food coming from wildlife friendly farming in Spain's Important Bird Areas (IBAs), has been selected as one of the 12 finalists in an international sustainable development competition.

The World Challenge is promoted by BBC World and Newsweek, in association with Shell, aimed at finding individuals or groups around the world who have developed innovative projects on sustainable development that are making a difference to local communities.
