C’est un fait regrettable: les personnes vivant près des zones importantes pour la biodiversité sont souvent très pauvres et dépendent uniquement de l’exploitation des ressources naturelles pour leurs moyens d’existence. Actuellement, un projet vise à inverser cette tendance, permettant ainsi aux communautés d’améliorer leur sort en utilisant les ressources de façon durable.
