The National component (Egypt) of the Migratory Soaring Birds Project, seeks a consultant /firm with extensive experience in the delivery of ornithological components of Environmental Impact Assessments for the energy sector to undertake a regional short term consultancy. The consultancy requires the development of guidelines to ensure that Environmental Impact Assessments suitably evaluate the impact of Energy development upon Migratory Soaring Birds (MSBs). These guidelines will be required to pay particular attention to the wind energy sector due to the potentially significant impacts of this sector upon MSBs.
