• Location: Singapore
• Full time: 35 hours per week
• Contract: Open-ended
• Salary: circa  S$72,000 to S$76,000 pro rata per annum 
• Annual Leave: 18 days pro rata per annum in year 1, increasing by 1 day pa to 21 days

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated candidate for the role of “Shorebird Flyways Fundraising Officer” based in Singapore.
 
The Officer’s role within the BirdLife Asia team in Singapore will be to ensure that the BirdLife Partnership and other partners are well supported and positioned in relation to the implementation of the BirdLife Global Flyways Programme by strengthening conservation of key sites and shorebird species on the flyway (in particular the Spoon-billed Sandpiper) and development of the programme for the long-term.
 
The Officer will be responsible primarily for fundraising but also for coordinating BirdLife’s efforts and supporting those of its partners, including governmental and business engagement and communications. 
 
The scope of work includes Spoon-billed Sandpiper breeding sites in Russia, staging sites in the Yellow Sea, and wintering sites in the Gulf of Gottama.  The spoon-billed Sandpiper will be BirdLife’s flagship species for shorebird conversation in the region.
 
The ideal candidate will have substantial work experience (preferable five years or more) in the area of fundraising.
