EVENT: Let's unCAP the truth about EU farming policy - 23 March 2016

Besides representing almost 40% of the EU budget, what is the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) all about? Is the new CAP really greener? Is it helping meeting EU overarching objectives for the environment, for biodiversity, water, air, climate? Is it actually creating extra jobs in rural areas or just managing their decline? Who gets the money? Is it demanding high animal welfare standards? Is the CAP responsible for high quality food or just for safe food?

These are some of the questions you ask yourself when you hear about the so called ‘CAP’?  Then don’t miss out on this opportunity to come and listen to everything you ever wanted to know about the Policy but were afraid to ask.

Come and participate in a workshop in which great speakers will “unCAP the truth”!

This event is hosted and organised by Sirpa Pietikainen (EPP, FI) in the frame of the sustainable food intergroup and in collaboration with the EEB and BirdLife Europe.
