Member State Tasks
- Recommendation on Natura 2000 designation: Complete the SPA designation by including the IBAs published in 2010.Publish legal acts designating and protecting these sites as requested by EU.
- Recommendation on Natura 2000 management: Develop and implement missing management plans for species and habitats.
- Recommendation on Natura 2000 financing: Increase consistency and harmonise existing payment schemes, namely targeted Biodiversity contracts under the Environment Ministry and the better financed Agri-environment payments under the Agriculture Ministry with a view to increase targeted financing opportunities for Natura2000 management.
