• Recommendation on Natura 2000 designation: Finalize the designation of missing SCIs.

• Recommendation on Natura 2000 management: It is necessary to make SPA management plans binding and to develop them for all the sites. Management plans with realistic targets set for at leas ½ of SPAs by 2014.

• Recommendation on Natura 2000 financing: Prepare high-quality PAF and substantially improve the framework for using LIFE+. Realistic PAF ready and support for LIFE+ in place.

• Recommendation on species protection: Common birds decline. Set the national framework for agriculture subsidies to not damage biodiversity. Carry out a research on causes of forest birds decline. New scheme of agriculture subsidies with at least 10% environmental focus areas (farm level green infrastructure) and 50% of Rural development scheme set for high quality environmental support.

• Recommendation on degradation of protected areas:  Šumava. Stop the highly damaging logging in core areas immediately, set clear conservation priorities for Šumava according to the scientific knowledge and international standards. High-quality management plan for Šumava NP adopted by 2014.
