Gallirallus sharpei - this taxon is not recognised by BirdLife International.

Gallirallus sharpei (Sibley and Monroe 1990, 1993) is now considered a colour morph of Buff-banded Rail G. philippensis based on unpublished genetic work (R. W. R. J. Dekker in litt. 2008).
