Ornithological information An important area for Ciconia ciconia with several birds summering in the area. Other species listed on Annex I of the EC Birds Directive and breeding at the site include Lanius collurio and Alcedo atthis. Species occurring on passage include Luscinia svecica, Philomachus pugnax and Tringa glareola.
Site description A valley with grassland and small wetlands (ponds and reedbeds) along the Syre stream.
