Site description A narrow, 60-km stretch of river with fringing reed Phragmites; the lower reaches have been dammed to form a fish-pond. There are three major settlements in the vicinity of Jegrièka, which is surrounded by arable land.

Key Biodiversity An important site for breeding and passage waterbirds.
