Ornithological information This is an important staging area for Anser anser and Branta leucopsis. Several species listed on Annex I of the EC Birds Directive breed at the site, including Circus aeruginosus, Porzana porzana and Lanius collurio.

Site description Formerly a fjord but now largely agricultural with the exception of a small lake surrounded by reedbeds (less than 5% of the total area) and meadows. Small plantations, mostly coniferous, are also present.
