Site description An area of shifting dunes, moorland and wetlands, bordering agricultural areas.

Key Biodiversity Pluvialis apricaria and Tringa glareola, listed on Annex I of the EC Birds Directive, breed at the site. The site is also a nationally important staging area for raptors during spring migration.
