Site description Located in Shihegang Township, Xinyang City. The habitats in this mountainous IBA include evergreen coniferous forest, mixed coniferous-broadleaf forest, deciduous forest and scrub.

Key Biodiversity 

Non-bird biodiversity: About 40 species of nationally protected wild animals including dhole, wolf, fox, goral, leopard cat, serow, otter ad giant salamander.
