Site description The IBA comprises sections of cliff-lined coast at Dunnet Head, Duncansby Head to Skirza Head, and Wick to Helmsdale. Patches of species-rich maritime heath occur, giving way to acidic heath further inland. These cliffs support breeding seabirds and waterbirds.
