Site description The forest is complex and includes sometimes trees tallest than 60 metres high rising from a dispersed undergrowth. Species like Haumania libretiana and Aframomum sp are dominant in the herbaceous level. Large areas along rivers are covered by a flooded forest where species like Hallea ciliata, Pterocarpus osun and Alstonia congonsis are dominant.
