Ligue Pour La Protection des Oiseaux

Site description An area of ponds, a river with riverine forest, cliffs and rocky slopes, conifer forests, and alpine meadows.

Key Biodiversity This is an important site for breeding mountain and forest species. The site is a major migratory bottleneck, where more than 20,000 raptors pass on a regular basis (including Pernis apivorus 10,000; Milvus migrans 20,000; Buteo buteo 20,000).
