Ornithological information The site holds important populations of mountain, forest and raptor species. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Crex crex (irregular breeder).

Site description A mid- to high-altitude mountain area with conifer forests, dry meadows, alpine meadows, scree and cliffs, glaciers and permanent lying snow.

Management considerations Development of ski-stations in the areas surrounding the IBA is a threat.
