Ornithological information This is an important site for breeding waterbirds, Crex crex and terns, and as a wintering site for waterbirds, in particular Vanellus vanellus (14,000 individuals).
Site description The site includes a river, marshes, aquatic vegetation, wet meadows, riverine forest, Populus plantations, bocages and arable fields.
