Société d'Ornithologie de Polynésie (Manu)

Site description Crêtes de la caldera et planèzes sèche au nord et à l'ouest découpées par des vallées encaissées. Le climat de ces plateaux et vallées sous le vent est particulièrement sec et aride alors que les crêtes de la caldeira (qui culminent au mont Tekao 1224 m) sont très humides et abritent une forêt de nuage riche en espèces endémiques.
