Site description A large tract of Pinus-dominated dry forest, traversed by rivers and with patches of deciduous woodland. The majority of the forest is managed.

Key Biodiversity The forest supports important numbers of breeding Coracias garrulus, Caprimulgus europaeus and Lullula arborea, although there have been no specific counts.
