Management considerations The site is threatened by forestry exploitation: ancient woodland is being felled and replaced with Pinus plantations and other exotic species.
Protection status National Low International Partial135 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Le Pinail, 135 ha). 3,797 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Le Pinial et Forêt de Moulière, 3,797 ha).
