Site description An area of shallow brackish water with associated freshwater ponds, marshes, reedbeds (Phragmites), rivers, riverine forest, vineyards and arable fields.

Key Biodiversity This site is important for breeding species of herons. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (wintering).
