Ornithological information The site is important for passage and breeding raptors. The site is a migratory bottleneck, where more than 3,000 raptors pass on a regular basis (including Pernis apivorus 10,000; Milvus migrans 1,000; Milvus milvus 1,000).
Site description A fast-flowing river with pools, marshes, woodland, cultivated and uncultivated land, heathland, cliffs, and reservoirs. Human activities include mining and quarrying.
