Site description A bay and estuary with mudflats, coastal cliffs, sand and shingle-beaches and saltmarshes. Human activities include fishing, hunting, and recreation, including sailing.

Key Biodiversity The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds in winter, on a regular basis.
