Ligue Pour La Protection des Oiseaux

Site description A bay with mudflats and rocky islets, sand-dunes, two estuaries and sand and shingle beaches. Fishing and hunting are the main human activities.

Key Biodiversity This is an important site for wintering waterbirds and for a tern colony, with nationally important numbers of Sterna hirundo (110 pairs).
