Management considerations The abandonment of grazing and the conversion of meadows to maize plantations are the main threats to the site.
Protection status National Partial International Low881 ha of IBA covered by Hunting Reserve (Saint-Martin de Seignanx, 881 ha ). 93 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Barthes de l'Adour: Saint-Martin de Seignanx, 93 ha).
