Site description A sandy peninsula in the Sea of Azov, together with the estuary of the Berda river, near the town of Berdyansk.

Key Biodiversity The total number of breeding waterbirds is 3,000-5,000 pairs, while the total number of waterbirds staging on passage is 30,000-40,000 individuals.
