Site description Mangue Seco é um pontal arenoso que se projeta em direção ao oceano a partir da margem sul do estuário do rio Real, no extremo norte do litoral baiano1. Durante a maré baixa, extensos lamaçais e bancos de areia formam-se a oeste do pontal, atraindo grande número de aves costeiras.
